I'm Almost a Trilogy!

Hello all!

Nope, I’m not even going to attempt to make an excuse for neglecting my blog for over a year. Life happens. Also, as I’ve mentioned before, I really don’t enjoy blogging very much. I just do it, because they say I need to in order to generate interest in my books.

What’s been happening? Well, let’s see…I went on two cruises, a long weekend in New York city, geeked out at Raleigh Galaxy Con, took a road trip to New Orleans, attended my high school reunion, and transferred to a new position at my day job. Whew, I was busy! Oh, you want to know what's been happening with the book? Fret no more, I am happy to announce that I finished the third and final book in the Souls Saga! Happy dance! I am currently working on editing. If you look several blogs back, you’ll learn that I despise editing. 😊

I am feeling accomplished and a little sad for the story to be over. I do intend for the story to be over, but I wouldn’t rule out a re-visit to Jensen, Cam, and the gang later on. It's been quite a journey. I've laughed and cried with these characters. I've struggled to help them overcome obstacles and determine their future.

Five years ago, these books started out as a way to distract me from a deep depression. They turned into a labor of love and (if I’m being honest) a love letter to a love and a life that I’ll never have. I have thoroughly enjoyed writing these characters and it’s hard to say goodbye to them, but I am excited about my next adventure.

If you're curious, I'm feeling a magical/fantasy story brewing up again. I say again, because I actually started writing this story right after I finished Souls Eternal. I’m excited to re-visit it.

With all of that said, I can’t wait until everyone gets to read Souls Adrift. And if you haven’t yet read Souls Eternal or Souls Golden, what the heck are you waiting for?
